Print still more trustful than digital

Despite the wave of digital media rising all over, there is still a lot (or some) about printed newspapers playing a pivotal role in the news media industry—a lot indeed in India, where the regional domain remains a breeding ground for vernacular dailies and weeklies. ppi Media acquires publishing expert KnowledgeView

London-based company KnowledgeView Ltd, producer of digital publishing solutions for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, has been acquired by ppi Media. As part of the new venture of the two companies, founder of KnowledgeView, Dr Ali Al-Assam, will join ppi Media from northern Germany as senior vice president for the MENA region.

All set for staging Digital Media India 2018 in Mumbai

Digital Media India 2018, the much sought after annual meeting point for the digital news publishing industry in South Asia, is scheduled to be held on February 8-9 at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, Mumbai. Yuvraj Printers with its sister concern Chirag Offset in Ahmedabad are known for printing books and commercial jobs. The production facilities of the firm have equipped with presses from PRESSLINE India, relying on the machines of the indigenous web offset manufacturer for years. The printing firm has recently boosted its facilities with another PRESSLINE press—Prima-30.
