INMA (International News Media Association) has set the schedule of its World Congress of News Media in New York from May 13-17, 2019. The congress will have diverse topics such as Digital Platform Initiative in which a panel will focus on a road map for navigating Facebook and Google. In the session ‘Readers First Newsroom Transformation 2.0: Unveiling the Third Pillar of INMA’s Readers First Initiative’ will focus on ‘newsroom transformation 2.0’ with Grzegorz (Greg) Piechota.
In the session News Media Outlook: Strategic Horizon Watching, there will be INMA CEO Earl Wilkinson’s much-anticipated News Media Outlook presentation. A pre-conference study tour already has confirmed stops at The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Network’s new Manhattan offices. And the popular half-day seminars will feature a Smart Data Summit, a Print Innovation Workshop, an Editor’s Retreat, and the always sold-out Brainsnack Seminar. Reuters just confirmed as host of two of these seminars.
